        About Satish Kaushik : Satish Kaushik is a well-known personality in the Indian film industry. He was born on April 13, 1956, in Mahendragarh, Haryana, India. After completing his studies, he moved to Delhi and started working in the theater. In the late 1970s, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting and joined the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune.

        Satish Kaushik made his acting debut in the 1980 film "Masoom," directed by Shekhar Kapur. However, he gained recognition for his role as "Calendar" in the iconic Bollywood film "Mr. India" (1987). He went on to appear in several successful films like "Ram Lakhan," "Saajan Chale Sasural," and "Karz Chukana Hai," among others.

        In 1993, Satish Kaushik turned director with the film "Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja," starring Sridevi and Anil Kapoor. Despite being a commercial failure, the film has gained a cult following over the years. Satish Kaushik then went on to direct successful films like "Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain" (1999), "Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai" (2001), and "Tere Naam" (2003), among others.

        Apart from directing and acting, Satish Kaushik is also a producer and screenwriter. He produced the hit film "Milenge Milenge" (2010) and co-wrote the screenplay for the critically acclaimed film "Bandit Queen" (1994).

        In addition to his work in films, Satish Kaushik has also appeared in various television shows, including the popular comedy series "F.I.R." and "Sumit Sambhal Lega." He has also hosted several television shows, including "Siskiyan" and "Cine Stars Ki Khoj."

        Satish Kaushik has won several awards for his work in the film industry, including the Filmfare Award for Best Comedian for his role in "Ram Lakhan" and the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi for producing the film "Tere Naam." He has also been honored with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India, for his contribution to the arts.
